Genealogical Continuity & Living Practice

Te Tikanga Nui Ō Te Mana Tuku Iho holds an unbroken IO genealogical line spanning approximately 750 generations, carried through living oral recital.

Beginning with IO, and concluding with Kupe Nuku IO-Ariki 9th, the recital comprises over 750 ancestral names, each representing a successive generation of approximately 25 years, preserving a genealogical sequence spanning approximately 18,700 years.

This genealogy was handed down through 750 generations from Marae Taputapuātea to Kupe Nuku, to Kupe Nuku IO-Ariki and preserved by the Tohunga scholar-practitioners of Te Wānanga Ō Taitokerau, Hokianga in the early eighteen century.

The surviving Hokianga manuscripts preserve this unbroken Kōpū Ariki lineage from IO to Te Kupenga O Te Ao and all 9 Kupe known in this tradition, providing a verifiable record of its eighteenth-century transmission.

This was made possible with multiple visits to Tahiti Nui, Ra'iatea, Borabora, Maupiti, Huahine and many other islands and meeting their geneology scholars of which there were many from 2000 to 2026.

I anga mai au i Te Toi o Ngā Rangi
I anga mai au i Tikitikiōrangi

I am a dimensional being, living within a multidimensional IO-verse.

Te Ōrokohanga Recital is a living Whakapapa–Tātai Arorangi oral tradition through which I participate in the ordering of the multidimensional IO-verse through whakapapa, Waiata Ruruku (chants), and sacred history.

During this recital, I recite over 750 tūpuna names and chant 20 source Waiata Ruruku that recount the origins of the multidimensional IO-verse.

Through its sacred rhythm, harmonics of reverberation, breath, memory, and living infrastructure, the recital progressively brings my mind, body, heart, spirit, soul,

and mauri into harmony with the multidimensional IO-verse established by IO, allowing my whole being to be restored, regulated, and aligned with Te Tikanga Nui o Te Mana Tuku Iho—the Inherent Order and Authority of IO.This lineage flows directly:

This is not a reconstructed genealogy.

This genealogy is carried and handed down from IO to Kupe, to Nukutawhiti to Te Wānanga Ō Taitokerau to Te Whatukura a Tangaroa, Kupe Nuku IO-Ariki - Tangaroa Ngaropo Tawio Pouroto who was initiated into Te Whatupungapunga Whare Wānanga by Pātariki Ruka.

It is a recited continuity, transmitted through Te Whare IO, Sacred Primordial Whare Of IO, and IO Tohunga, IO Priesthood, which at one time it was only ever written down, now they are held by memory alone, without manuscripts, without written record, and without external validation.

Seven hundred and fifty generations — carried through human memory, breath, and responsibility — is not symbolism.

It is evidence of the endurance of survival from within the IO tradition itself.

This genealogy has been fully recited by memory on six tapu occasions in the last two years, from 12am  to sunrise, 2024 - 2026:
