Ko Hawaiki Hou Te Pā

Te Papakāinga is the name of the papakāinga being established on the whenua in Aotearoa. This name honors the return of Kupe and reflects the ancestral and spiritual layers embedded in this whenua. Here, we envision a living environment that is not simply a settlement, but a continuation of the responsibilities and relationships woven through whakapapa, whenua, and moana.

The papakāinga will include the erection of thirteen fully carved Pouihi, each standing twelve meters tall to represent the thirteen heavens of Ngā Rangitūhaha. These Pouihi will be arranged in a semi-circle or a star compass formation. A fourteenth Pouihi, standing thirteen meters tall, will stand apart, symbolizing Kupe’s return home. As resources and time allow, we aim to rebuild or establish:

  • Te Pā Tūwatawata
  • 14 The Pouihi structures
  • The Star Compass
  • Taputapuātea
    (stone marae)
  • Te Whare Ariki
  • Te Whare Kokorangi
  • Ngā Mara Kai (food gardens)
  • Hua rākau (orchid)
  • Te Matawhaorua Waka Haurua
  • Solar power infrastructure
  • Other supporting elements

This papakāinga is part of a greater interlocking relationship within Te Tikanga Nui, the Supreme Order, and aligns with the knowledge upheld by Te Whare Kokorangi a Kupe Nuku IO-Ariki, the International School of Applied Celestial Knowledge.  The last image is to challenge us, we are inter-dimensional beings living in a multi-dimensional universe. The Holographic Universe - Te Hīnātore, Te Māramarama.
